We prepare tactical strength and conditioning professionals for the NSCA TSAC-F Certification Exam

"Tactical Strength and conditioning Facilitators (TSAC-F) apply scientific knowledge to physical train military, fire and rescue, law enforcement, protective services, and other emergency personnel to improve performance, promote wellness, and decrease the risk of injury.  They conduct needs analyses and physical testing sessions, design and implement safe and effective strength and conditioning programs, and provide general information regarding nutrition." NSCA.com 

Tactical Readiness 

Tactical athletes must be physically fit and mentally engaged to best serve and protect others and themselves.  A tactical athlete must always be ready to face physical, environmental, or psychological threats.  Five familiar components of tactical readiness are: 

The strength and conditioning goal is to improve tactical performance and mental toughness by optimizing readiness components.  Tactical athletes, especially active duty military, often do not have the resources available to individual and team sport athletes.  A working knowledge of the human body, responses to environmental conditions and training, and the ability to modify programming in real time are essential to developing and sustaining tactical readiness.
